記得這個故事



This just gives me the creeps! About a month ago there was

a womanstanding by the mall entrance passing out flyers to

all the women goingin.



大約一個月前,我看到一個女子站在購物中心的入口。



The woman had written the flyer herself to tell about an

experienceshe had, so that she might warn other women.

女子寫了個自己的經歷好警告其他的女子們。

The previous day, this woman had finished shopping, went

out to hercar and discovered that she had a flat.



幾天前,這個女子購物完後走出購物中心,在上車前發現她的車胎洩氣了



She got the jack out of the trunk and began to change the flat.



於是她從後車箱中拿出千斤頂準備換車胎。



A nice man dressed in business suit and carrying a briefca

se walked uptoher and said, "I notice you're changing a flat

tire.Would you like meto take care of it for you?"



一個穿著西裝手、拿公事包的男士走到她旁邊對她說：我看到妳在換車胎，需要我幫忙嗎？



The woman was grateful for his offer and accepted his help.



女子欣然的接受了男士的幫助。



They chatted amiably while the man changed the flat, and then put theflattire and the jack in the trunk, shut it and dusted his hands off.



換車胎時女子與男士相談甚歡，男士換好新車胎後幫女子將洩氣的車胎及千斤頂放入後車箱並蓋上車蓋，並將手上的灰塵拍掉。



The woman thanked him profusely, and as she was about to get in hercar, the man told her that he left his car around on the other side of themall,and asked if she would mind giving him a lift to his car.



當女子謝謝男士的幫助要進入車內時，男士告訴女子他的車子就在購物中心的附近，希望女子能讓男士搭個便車送男士去自己停車的地方。



She was a little surprised ands asked him why his car was on otherside.



女子有點意外並問男士怎麼會將車停在另一邊。



He explained that he had seen an old friend in the mall that he hadn'tseenfor some time and they had a bite to eat and visited for a while; hegot turned around in the mall and left through the wrong exit, and now hewasrunning late and his car was clear around on the other side of themall.



男士解釋說來購物中心和一個不常見面的老朋友吃飯、見面，離開時卻走錯出口。



但他現在快遲到,而他的車子就在附近而已。



The woman hated to tell him "no" because he had just rescued her fromhaving to change her flat tire all by herself, but she felt uneasy.



女子不想拒絕男士，因為男士才幫自己更換車胎，而換車胎對女子並不容易。



Then she remembered seeing the man put his briefcase in her trunkbefore shutting it and before he asked her for a ride to his car.



女子忽然想起男士在蓋上後車蓋前將自己的公事包放入後車箱中，而那是在男士開口請女子讓他搭便車之前。



She told him that she'd be happy to drive him to his car, but she justremembered one last thing she needed to buy.



女子於是對男士說自己很樂意載男士去他停車的地方,但自己忘了買一樣東西。



She said she would only be a few minutes; he could sit down in her carandwait for her; she would be as quick as she could be.



女子接著說只需要幾分鐘，男子可以坐在車內等，她很快就會回來。



She hurried into the mall, and told a security guard what had happened;theguard came out to her car with her, but the man had left.



女子進入購物中心後找了安全人員並將剛剛的事告訴他，安全人員與女子一起回到車旁時男士已經離開了。



They opened the trunk, took out his locked briefcase and took it downto the police station.



女子及安全人員一起將後車箱中男士的公事包帶到警察局。



The police opened it (ostensibly to look for ID so they could return ittothe man).



警察將公事包打開(表面上而言是可以看看有沒有證件好將公事包還給男士)



What they found was rope, duct tape, and knives.



他們發現裡面裝的竟然是繩子、膠帶及刀子。



When the police checked her "flat" tire, there was nothing wrong withit;the air had simply been let out.



當警察檢查女子洩氣的舊輪胎時發現根本沒有問題，只是被放氣而已。



It was obvious what the man's motive was, and obvious that he hadcarefullythought it out in advance.



男士有什麼意圖很明顯，而且事前已經小心計劃過。



The woman was blessed to have escaped harm.



女子幸運的逃過一劫。



How much worse it would have been had she waited in the car while themanfixed the tire, or if she had a baby strapped into a car seat.Or ifshe'dgone against her judgment and given him a lift.



如果女子當時坐在車裡等男士替她換車胎，或者女子有小孩坐在繫安全帶的兒童安全座椅上，或者當時女子拒絕男士的要求，將會發生多可怕的傷害。



I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know.
