Announcing Robert Zoller's Fourth 4-Day Intensive on Advanced Astrology -
October 21 to 24 2005!
While Medieval Astrologers formerly had Remedial Measures similar to those which
have survived in Indian Astrology, we, their 21st century continuators must
rediscover these necessary techniques so that we may offer some amelioration to
the client facing adversity. There is not the the slightest hint in the
astrological texts themselves that this practice existed in the West between
1200 and the Renaissance. It is to Medieval chronicles, and the field of
practical magic field that we must turn in order to see what has been lost and
what can be restored. Accordingly, we will examine the first book of Henry
Cornelius Agrippa's On the Occult Philosophy with an eye towards extracting
useful and reliable methods for the amelioration of the native's life. Of
course, we shall come to that old saw of the Fate/Free Will debate which we will
have to examine once again but we shall do so from a practical point of view.
But this presentation is not solely a matter of scholarly research. Over the 30
years he has practiced astrology, Robert Zoller has amassed a voluminous cache
of remedial measures from living practitioners around the world. He originally
intended to publish these in a book form, but, instead, has now selected and
will present at this 4 Day Intensive only such of these recipes as clearly
pertain to Natural Magic and Astrology and, in addition, have proven themselves
in practice.
We will focus on the following themes and subjects:
1. Remedial Measures. You will receive instruction in practical ways of
improving the life circumstances of the native through the exploitation of the
Heptarchy. In particular, you will take away with you reliable and effective
methods for augmenting or decreasing planetary influence in the natal.
2. You will also learn what role the Zodiac and fixed stars have in such
amelioration.
3. As Advanced Astrologers you will be given a crash course in how to draw out
the celestial virtue of things by the use of natural, physical things and how to
apply it for the improvement of the human condition.
4.You will learn the rationale of these techniques, the practical methods
themselves, their limitations, the proper attitude we must have towards them and
the proper manner of their use.
You will also learn what to expect and the role of expectation generally and of
belief in particular in this Practice.
5. We will compare similar practices employed by African, Indian, Carribean and
North American practitioners in order to recognize what is central in each
technique discussed.
6. Finally, we will reflect upon the lessons and implications of these
practices: philosophically, metaphysically, morally and as they relate to the
future.
The Venue will be the same as the last 3 Intensives, namely, the Lonsdale Quay
Hotel (pronounced Lonsdale "Key" Hotel) at 123 Carrie Cates Court in North

night for attendees at this Intensive. PLEASE NOTE: It is very important that

you are to get this rate and we are to have the agreed upon rate for the lecture
rooms. The cost for this 4 Day Intensive is $1200.00US if you register before
October 1, 2005 ($1300 thereafter). Register early as the special subject
matter and the degree of practical detail imparted in this Intensive is sure to
attract many who were not in attendence at previous Intensives. Once again, as
we have in previous occassions, we will meet for dinner on the Thurday evening
prior to the first day of the intensive (in other words, on Thursday 20 October
2005 at Gusto di Quattro Restaurant (right accross the street from the Hotel) at
7:30 PM. The Morning Session each day begins at 10:00 O'clock AM. Lunch is from
12:30PM to 1:45PM and the Afternoon Session runs until 4:30PM to 5:00PM. There
will be brief breaks in both the Morning and Afternoon sessions. The Lonsdale
