Approach 92 象曰：'The good fortune and every possible advantage attending the advance (of the subject of the second line), in company (with the subject of the first),' arises from the fact that those (to whom the advance is made) are not yet obedient to the ordinances (of Heaven).
彖曰：Approach has supreme success. Perseverance furthers. When the eighth month comes, there will be misfortune.

友人來，請占某貴顯氣運，筮得臨之復。

此卦下之二陽長進，上之四陰衰微，陽者君子，而陰者小人也。君子在位，則國家安寧，萬民得福，是臨民之善者也。

今占得此爻，以九二為貴顯，與六五之君位，陰陽相應，謂之「咸臨，吉，無不利」，可知某貴顯本年之氣運大吉。
